Here are some upcoming events that happen to fall between our January and February Outloud installations at The Beebe Estate. You’ll notice some familiar names and faces in the mix that we wanted to give a shout out to as a way to show our love and support, so here goes:
On Saturday, January 18th 2014 Improv Boston out in Central Square Cambridge will feature the play ‘History 101‘ — ‘A humorous collection of history-themed scenes, monologues and songs’ — as directed by the incomparable A. Vincent Ularich.
On Thursday, January 30th 2014 come out to celebrate the release of Kirsten Manville’s first solo CD, “Come With Me” out at The West Lynn Arts and Business Center. The show starts at 8pm and there’s an extremely reasonable $5 cover charge to get in. Get more information from the Facebook Event Page right here.
On Friday, February 7th 2014 the feature-length black comedy and social media commentary film ‘The Nigerian Frequency‘ kicks off The 39th Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival out at Somerville Theatre in Davis Square. This special event premier screening and follow up panel Q+A starts at 7pm. Christopher Borden co-produced the film with a small crew of his film collaborative up at Chelmsford TeleMedia in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
